We have been busy in Room 4 for the past week and a half focusing on routines as well as having fun with our Inquiry topic of ‘What I like.’ Our first topic was a favourite pastime of swimming/water. This has been a high-interest activity that we partake in every day.
We have been learning about different animals which swim in the water as well as how to keep safe in the water ourselves and different uses for water.

Great to see you all back Room 4. Some of the things I like are playing with my dog Tess, riding my bike and going for long walks.What animals have you found out about who live in the water. I wonder what you have learnt about them?
Water is so very important for our wellbeing as is knowing how to stay safe around it! Wonderful work Room 4.
What a lovely start to the year Room 4. I like patting my cats and gardening. I love swimming also. It is wonderful to see so many of you learning to float in the pool. This is such an important skill for water safety. What other things do you like?
